In 2011, we wanted to improve our service to citizens. Together with Ximmio, we were the first in our industry to launch a “waste app” in the Netherlands. Currently, we have many users for this app and it meets a clear need among our customers.
The Twente Milieu app is intended for citizens who want to offer waste. This can be your own waste in the form of garbage bags or a container, as well as full collection containers or litter. In addition, the app includes the trash calendar showing which container will be picked up when. The user can activate push messages so that he or she is reminded of the date of emptying at any time.
The developed app has resulted in a high service level for our customers, and has contributed positively to our corporate image.
