Waste processor RAD has been developing a so-called waste app in collaboration with app developer Ximmio. An app that allows residents of the Hoeksche Waard to always have all information about waste collection and recycling close at hand.
The app features the waste calendar, separation guide and an overview with the locations of underground containers. It is even possible to get a reminder when you can put the container or PMD bag at the street. Are there any special circumstances surrounding the service? Then the RAD may send a push message to inform you about it.
Councilman Piet van Leenen, president of the RAD, announced the launch of the free RAD app. “This app is incredibly convenient and user-friendly. As soon as you open the app you immediately get to see the waste calendar. The waste guide tells you which type of waste you can put in which bin. Moreover, you get a reminder when you can offer your waste. The waste app is a nice addition to the service the RAD offers to the residents of the Hoeksche Waard.”
